JIC Leasing recently reached a cooperation agreement with a company in Jiangsu Province to provide dedicated funding, through a direct lease arrangement, for the acquisition of the EHang EH216-S electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (eVTOL). This aircraft will be deployed for low-altitude sightseeing trips in the Zijin Mountain scenic area in Nanjing, helping to expand the use of eVTOLs in the cultural tourism sector.

This project represents JIC Leasing's first direct lease in the low-altitude economy and demonstrates its commitment to advancing new quality productive forces through financial leasing services, as well as deepening collaboration with the Tianjin Dongjiang Comprehensive Bonded Zone on low-altitude economy initiatives. The project will support the establishment of the first Urban Air Mobility (UAM) operations center at the Nanjing Zijin Mountain National 5A Scenic Area and launch a low-altitude sightseeing route from the Ten Dynasties Cultural Park to Zijin Mountain. Leveraging the scenic area's good visitor flow, the project aims to develop a diversified operational model combining aerial sightseeing, educational experiences and corporate team-building services, driving innovation in low-altitude cultural tourism scenarios and fostering coordinated development across the aviation and tourism value chain.

This cooperation provides valuable experience for the financial leasing industry in supporting the cultivation of low-altitude economy scenarios. Looking ahead, JIC Leasing will continue to deepen the integration of technology and industry, supporting the large-scale commercial use of new technologies and products, promoting the adoption of innovative use cases, and contributing sustained financial support to the development of the low-altitude economy.
