Entering the era of megawatt supercharging: Advancing finance-industry collaboration— JIC Leasing partners with Huawei Digital Power to build an ecosystem for quality charging infrastructure
As a key strategic partner of Huawei Digital Power in the new energy charging sector, JIC Leasing recently participated in the Huawei DriveONE & Huawei FusionCharge Strategy and Product Launch event held on the sidelines of the Beijing Auto Show. During the event, JIC Leasing presented its solutions for partners to achieve sustainable business growth through diversified financial product offerings.
At the launch event, Huawei Digital Power unveiled its full range of smart charging network solutions, marking the industry’s transition into megawatt supercharging. Leveraging its financial leasing expertise, JIC Leasing supports Huawei’s new energy charging network initiative by facilitating large-scale deployment of megawatt supercharging stations. This allows both parties to contribute to China’s “dual carbon” strategy and the development of a transportation powerhouse, while promoting the vision of “high-quality charging wherever roads exist.”

As a leading state-owned financial leasing enterprise, JIC Leasing has consistently aligned its development with national strategies. The company has identified green energy, next-generation charging and battery-swapping infrastructure as key business segments, and maintains a longstanding and close partnership with Huawei Digital Power. Leveraging Huawei’s globally leading technologies – including fully liquid-cooled supercharging, megawatt-level charging, and integrated photovoltaic-storage-charging solutions – JIC Leasing has supported benchmark projects in major cities, including charging stations for heavy-duty trucks in Shenzhen. Through a model combining operating leasing and trust-based management, the company provides long-term and stable funding support for charging infrastructure projects to address industry challenges such as high upfront investment costs, long payback periods and financing difficulties. This has accelerated the commercial deployment of Huawei’s supercharging technologies.

JIC Leasing will continue to strengthen its strategic partnership with Huawei Digital Power. Focusing on the integrated “point-line-network” megawatt supercharging network strategy, the company will further increase financial investment in charging and battery-swapping infrastructure, as well as new energy transportation equipment. Leveraging its strengths in financing, asset leasing and industry expertise, the company aims to provide full life-cycle financial solutions spanning station investment, equipment procurement, construction and operation and asset management. Together with partners, it will accelerate the large-scale deployment of quality charging infrastructure and contribute to the development of China’s new quality productive forces and support the country’s aspiration of becoming a global energy powerhouse.
